Imperial Reckoning Avaric Cycle

Imperial Reckoning

The calendar of Imperial Reckoning is the official method of timekeeping used in all Imperial provinces and is also used heavily in bordering lands that frequently trade and interact with Imperial peoples. It begins with year 1 marked as the year that the chieftains of Old Illant gathered together and swore allegiance to the first Illanti Emperor.

Avaric Cycle

The Avaric Cycle is common in the southern and eastern extents of the world, dominating most of the cultures in Usca and Ontes. It was originally developed by the Old Deldari priest-kings at the height of their wisdom and learning, based on the progression of the star Ashta through the sky.
